Travel and Stay

    • International Flights: Most guest will need to fly from a major hub into Manila (MNL) or Cebu (CEB). From there, you’ll hop on a take a short 1-hour domestic flight to Caticlan (MPH), which is the closest airport to the island.

    • Passports & Visas: If you are traveling with a US Passport, no visa is required for stays under 30 days. Just ensure your passport is valid for at least six months beyond your planned stay. For those traveling with non-US passports, please check with your passport visa requirements.

    • Domestic Leg: Once you arrive in Manila/Cebu, you will take a short 1-hour domestic flight to Caticlan (MPH). We highly recommend flying into Caticlan rather than Kalibo to save yourself a long bus ride.

  • Once you arrive to Caticlan Airport (MPH) you’ll take a short ride to the Caticlan Transfer Hub (Jetty Port)

    Option 1: The Lind’s Pre-Arranged Transfer (Recommended).

The Lind provides complimentary transfers, this is the most seamless way to go.

    • The Process: After you grab your bags and exit the arrivals hall, look for a staff member holding a sign for The Lind Boracay.

    • The Ride: They will have a private or shared air-conditioned van waiting to drive you the 3–5 minutes to the Jetty Port.

    • The Perk: They usually have their own dedicated lounge or "fast-track" process to get you onto their boat without you having to navigate the main crowds.

Option 2: Taking a Local Tricycle

If you decide to not stay at the Lind, you can take a local tricycle or see if your accommodation provides transfers.

    • The Process: Just outside the airport exit, there is a designated tricycle line.

    • The Ride: It’s a very short ride (about 5–10 minutes depending on traffic).

    • The Cost: It usually costs around PHP 50–100 per tricycle.

What happens at the Jetty Port?

Once you arrive at the port, there are three steps before you get on the boat:

    1. Verification: You must show your hotel booking confirmation. Security often checks this before you can enter the port.

    2. Fee Payment: If not already covered by a transfer service, you’ll head to the windows to pay the Environmental Fee and Terminal Fee.

    3. The Boat: You’ll then be directed to the boats. Most resort vans (like The Lind’s) will escort you directly to the correct boarding area.

  • Arrival at the Caticlan Transfer Hub

Upon arrival at the jetty port, there are standard local fees collected at the transfer hub. Please keep some Philippine Pesos (PHP) handy for:

    • Terminal Fee: Approx. PHP 150

    • Environmental Fee: Approx. PHP 300 (Foreign Nationals)

    • From Caticlan (MPH): Complimentary.

    • From Kalibo (KLO): If you choose to fly into Kalibo, transfers will cost an extra PHP 3,800 per way, per van.

    • Note: All transfers are provided on a non-exclusive (shared) basis.

  • Address: Station 1, White Beach, Barangay Balabag, Boracay Island, Malay, Aklan, Philippines
